About Renee

Renee Innis is the Co-Owner of Rinse Design, Chief Project Manager and Design Strategist. She also co-founded the Design Corps of Santa Fe with Robert in 2015 to make visible the role of leading visual communication professionals in Santa Fe. Hailing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Renee spent 17 years in the Bay Area honing her craft and developing design strategies for a diverse group of clientele.

She has the unique ability to combine design savvy with organizational management, serving as Senior Designer and Account Manager at a number of prominent design studios, including Visual Strategies and Skaggs Design in San Francisco. She has a knack for creating event brands and collateral and has designed such projects for The NFL’s ProBowl, Microsoft, Real Networks, the San Francisco International Film Festival, The Graphic Artist’s Guild Illustrators Marketplace, and the San Francisco International Airport.

After moving to New Mexico, Renee was the Lead Designer at Kilmer Kilmer Marshall Duran (k2md) for the Lovelace Health System Rebrand based in Albuquerque which was awarded Rebrand Winner in 2007. Prior to establishing Rinse Design, she was Art Director at Cisneros Design where she managed the creative for several clients including Maryville University, Santa Fe School of Cooking, Davis Advisors, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, and Los Alamos National Labs’ WHY Magazine.

About Robert

Robert Innis is the Co-Owner of Rinse Design and Co-Founder of the Design Corps of Santa Fe. Widely known for his charismatic and impassioned views of design as a creative force and agent for sustainable growth, he applies 24 years of experience to design—using critical, creative and conceptual skills to solve problems and issues in the new economy.

Throughout his career, Robert has worked with international clients, MasterCard International, Samsung (World Cyber Games), Global Outreach Doctors and nationally for Hewlett Packard, Beringer Vineyards, Edy’s/Dreyer’s Ice Cream and Los Alamos National Labs. Much of his local and regional work has focused on supporting small businesses — promoting leadership and progressive organizations. Robert has been an Adjunct Professor at the College of Santa Fe, a guest speaker and mentor to design students and has served for many years on the board of the New Mexico chapter of AIGA.

For progressive design change, he and Renee have established the Litter Nation project—a citizen science based design challenge focused on addressing litter in New Mexico.

While earning a BS from the University of Cincinnati’s College of DAAP (Design, Architecture, Art & Planning), Robert also earned a living in Scotland, UK, New York, and Connecticut.
